Canadian Poker Tour Launches 2008 Season

The Canadian Poker Tour (CPT) is launching its 2008 season with the first event beginning in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with the Calgary Classic at the Cash Casino.

There will be a series of tournaments across the country in which winners from each main event will qualify for the televised CPT Invitational Finals to be held January 20-22, 2009 as part of the World Poker Showdown's series of events held at the Ocean World Casino in the Dominican Republic.
